I used to charge $9/month for Commentify. Because I thought… cheaper = easier to sell. Wrong. People didn’t hesitate because of price. They hesitated because it looked too cheap to be legit. So I doubled it… $19/month. Same product, but with a few extra things that didn’t increase our bills. Guess what changed? - Fewer doubts - Better retention - And customers who actually read onboarding emails Turns out, $9 attracts tryers. $19 attracts users. Low pricing doesn’t make your product accessible… It makes it forgettable. ----------- Brutal Truth: Your real competitors aren’t other startups… it’s your fear of charging what you’re worth.
